Press Release 2025

The Best HR Marketing Projects of the Year: Meet the Winners of the 10th Annual Recruitment Academy Awards.

The Recruitment Academy has announced the winners of the prestigious Recruitment Academy Awards, celebrating Czech and Slovak companies for their outstanding projects in HR marketing, employer branding, and recruitment over the past year. The title Recruiter of the Year was awarded to Adéla Janouchová from RENOMIA. The gala ceremony took place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Jatka78 theatre in Prague.

Over 70 companies took part in this year’s competition, submitting more than 100 projects in nine different categories. “The projects made one thing clear – artificial intelligence is no longer a vision of the future. It’s already transforming how recruitment is done in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We’ve seen, for example, companies creating career sites that recommend personalized job opportunities based on a candidate’s resume. And that’s just the beginning of what AI can do,” says José Kadlec, Director of the Recruitment Academy Awards.

For the fourth time, Edenred became the competition’s general partner and also sponsored the Edenred Wellbeing Award category.

“Wellbeing has long been a key focus for us at Edenred, so we're pleased to see that companies don’t treat it just as an empty buzzword. On the contrary, many take a comprehensive and respectful approach to supporting employees’ physical health, mental wellbeing, and individual needs. In addition to mental health support and flexibility, we’re increasingly seeing smart benefits aimed at prevention – from health screenings and fitness programs to education. This year’s gala also highlighted how strongly AI influences HR. Modern HR today is a blend of technology, creativity, and genuine care for people,” said Aneta Martišková, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Edenred.

Another key partner of the competition was the University of New York in Prague, which supported the Recruiter of the Year category and awarded the winner a grand prize – an MBA program worth CZK 410,000. “Careers and job opportunities are not just a destination for our students—they are part of the educational journey itself. RA Awards brings together the innovators and leaders who shape hiring in this region, and we are proud to support and celebrate that excellence,” said Clark Steele, Marketing Director of UNYP.

The Recruitment Academy Awards were established to inspire, educate, and showcase the most outstanding projects in HR marketing, employer branding, and recruitment. The first edition took place in 2015, and since then, more than 1000 projects have been submitted.
